Best leather cases for iPhone 12

I love Apple's leather cases and I buy them every year. But this year I can't buy it at launch for the 12 Pro.

Interested to see what everyone's favourite brand for leather cases are, and if/when they get released for the iPhone 12.

The ones on the top of my head are:
- Apple
- Bellroy
- Mujjo
- Bullstrap
- Nomad

Would also be good to know if they are compatible with MagSafe.

Love to hear everyone's inputs and see some photos!

This is a point that confuses me somewhat. Some cases say they're compatible with wireless charging, but does that necessarily mean that the MagSafe charger will magnetically stick? Being compatible with MagSafe to me means that the case will act just like an Apple case would. I guess Apple cases would be the safest bet.

You might also take the time to ship into consideration. I’ve been disappointed at how long some cases take and didn’t think to check first.

I raised these questions with Bellroy and Bullstrap on their instagram page and they haven't responded.

I think in most cases shortly after launch, being compatible will just mean they're thin enough to not prevent MagSafe from charging your phone. They won't have any magnets built in yet.

Of the cases you linked, Nomad is the only one without an ugly logo on it. Ive had the Nomad cases for my x and my 11 Pro, and they are quite nice, but add a considerable amount of bulk to the phone.

I’m probably going to get the apple leather case when it comes out, but would prefer to find something of similar or better quality but without a logo.

Really like my Nomad case for my 7 Plus, but going with a bumper case for my 12 Pro Max this time from Rhinoshield. I did email Nomad to ask if MagSafe would work through their leather case and they couldn’t give an answer at this time.

I would guess $59. The non MagSafe is currently $49.

It just seems like a ridiculous amount to pay. I got the Smartish Kung Fu Grip silly case on Amazon for $15. It's fine until I decide which leather to go with.

I have been using the Nomad Rugged on my iPhone X since the phone’s launch. It has been great and I have tried many cases. So if I end up buying an iPhone 12, I will buy the Nomad Rugged again.

- Apple = Black is the only one with grip
- Bellroy= Buttons are not easy to access, sharp where leather meets plastic, corners fragile
- Mujjo = found the leather sticky
- Bullstrap = havn't tried them
- Nomad = stiff buttons makes case unusable from 11 pro series, XR was ok.

That looks great with the black 12, how is the black for fingerprints on bask and edges?

"compatible with magsafe" seems like it means that the magnet will find it and stick, but probably not charge at the full 15W. my suspicion is that the magnets connect to keep it on the case, but that it only charges at Qi-speeds.

I’m also fan of Mujjo, this year buttons are terrible. There is a gap between case buttons and the phone and you have to press them deep and harder. I do not like the case this year.

They seem to be hiding this on purpose as there are no pics of the front of the case anywhere on their site or social media. I asked them on Instagram and they ignored my question.
If I had to guess I would say it’s open.
