I stand by my words, as I think its true that mac and games are a misnomer. I've been using Macs since the Macintosh se days and I've seen the ebb and flow of games on the mac. Actually mostly receding of games. We pay too much for games that have been out on windows months if not years before reaching OSX.

If you think that's trolling so be it, its a fact that I've dealt with since owning macs.

I would agree with you. However Steam is now on Mac OSX and so the game library has gone up, but will never be up to par with Windows and Gaming.

If you want to do some serious gaming get a origin. But here's a list of what apps/games I think the games are the "best".

1. Hard Core Dirt Bike

2. Angry Birds

3. Hangman

4. Hockey Nations 2011

5. Alpine Crawler

6. Wheres Waldo?

7. Papi River

8. Papi Jump

9. Call of Duty 4

10. Shotgun Fun Fun

Macs and games are a misnomer. If you want games, then run windows. The volume and price of Mac games are such that it doesn't make sense.

WOW, that's quite a sentiment. I'm sure it contributed as much (or perhaps even less) to this thread as that empty space on the lower part of your post.

To the OP:
My favorite games for the Mac are as follows.
Age of Empires III (one of my absolute favorite franchises, ever!)
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline [$6.99 on Mac App Store] (Excellent racing game)
Machinarium [$9.99 on Mac App Store] (Very beautiful and challenging puzzle game)
Pinball HD [$2.99 on Mac App Store] (Very fun pinball game with excellent graphics)
Galcon Fusion [$1.99 on Mac App Store] (A somewhat simplistic, but very cool looking and very addictive action-strategy game)
Also, the Mac App Store has Bioshock. I'd definitely look into it, if you have $40 and 10GB storage space to spare, that is. ;)
