The Sony Vaio, despite its high price tag, has a really bad keyboard flex when you type on it. Not to mention, as someone already said, it does feel cheap. It is pathetic that none of the bug players seem to have got a handle to Apple's aesthetic...no one seems to have a good execution (Asus UX301 might be the beginning of a change). At this moment, I would suggest the 13 Air ... the resolution is not that great but is one of the most well-built, reasonably priced (!!) laptops in the market. Plus it has got OSX which is more 'pleasant' to use than Windows 8

And very expensive.
MSI GS70 is the answer

I have my Mac users booting a win VM from virtual box (free virtualization software from Oracle) for the silly corp stuff that needs windows. It works well but can require tweaking from time to time.

You can find a fake macbook pro at almost any big box store. HP, Acer, Dell Sony and Asus all make macbook ish laptops. But you arent getting the benefit of the UNIX based OS or any of the other Apple-isms. Just a pretty face on the same old book.
