Hey folks, my new gig just sent me a setup that is weak at best. Upon further conversation with my boss, I discovered I can Byod (hooray!). So now, I have an additional excuse to get a new MacBook and monitor. Now, I know the Studio is excellent, as is the Ultrafine, but over 1k for a monitor seems nuts to me. Based upon desk space, and the fact this thing will sit right next to my 27” iMac, I’m shooting for something 27” with a similar(ish) display quality, that can cover all of the bases for both a Mac and pc. Looking hard at the BenQ PO2725U. Anyone have experience with their stuff?? Better suggestions? Thanks!

Depending on the model year and macOS version installed, you could use the iMac as external display using AirPlay Receiver feature -
