Best MBA/iPhone/iPad combination for uni

I'm entering university next year, and am thinking of purchasing either:
1. MBA 256GB + iPhone 64GB
2. MBA 128GB + iPhone 16GB + iPad 64/128GB
Which cost roughly the same. I still have plenty of time to think, and I just want to ask, if you were me and had the budget, which option would you aim for? I don't bootcamp, btw. And should I upgrade the hardware to i7/8GB RAM?

Totally option two if it were up to me. Get 8GB of RAM. Depending on what you do, of course.
