Best method for jailbreaking

I have an iPhone 3G with 3.0 firmware, but i dont know what method to use
what is the best/what did you use?

In my opinion, Purplera1n is easier. No need to manually put it in to DFU. Just one click.

Redsn0w is good since you are already on 3.0. If you have a Mac, I would use Pwnage Tool because it has more customization options. 🙂

Purplerain was the easiest for my 3GS, but he was talking about the 3g which purplerain wasnt made for.
