Best Mini DisplayPort adapter/cable for 1440p?

As the title says, I’m looking for a good Mini DisplayPort adapter or cable for outputting 1440p to my 4K monitor. It needs to go to HDMI.

I’ve been looking around but most seem to be 1080p or of questionable quality. Has anybody used any that they like? This is for a 2012 MacBook Pro (non-retina 13") that I’m setting up as a Plex server.

Just look for any Mini DisplayPort to HDMI 1.4 adapter or cable (4K 30Hz). But consider a HDMI 2.0 adapter instead for future proofing (or if you have a 4K 60Hz monitor).

In the list below,
First digit is a version number (1 or 2)
Second digit is input type (0isplayPort 1:Mini DisplayPort)
Third digit is output type (7:HDMI 2.0 8:HDMI 2.0b)
Last digit is a length (0:Adapter 2:2m 3:3m)
Not all products follow that naming convention.

There are also DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapters (4K 60Hz).
