what's the best minimalist/sleek/sexy mouse. Preferably one that will match with umbp? Thanks
well unfortunately there aint no aluminum mouses out there right now. The Kensington slimblades seem to be popular with the uMBs.
I like this Elecom mouse.
Comes in red, black and silver.
Very handy when traveling.
um... mighty mouse? lol
MM's are cool but the right clicking kinda sucks if you wanna use it with Windows apps.
Minimalist... thats a hard one because the best one is probably the MM but man I hate that mouse. There is a rocketfish mouse thats close to a MM. http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/pc-115-3-rocketfish-bluetooth-wireless-laser-mouse.aspx
Personally, I use the Logitech VX laser. Its been a favorite of mine for a while, and does well on batteries.
This brings up a good question as to what minimalist means to the user. Hopefully the OP will chime in with their opinion.
IMHO, I think size has something to do with it. I was curious as to the size difference between the mouse that you mentioned and the Elecom M-D13ur mouse.
For comparison, Rocketfish to Elecom:
Height: 1.4" --> 1.14"
Width: 2.4" --> 2.17"
Depth: 4.4" --> 3.34"
Cubic inches: 14.78 --> 8.26
Weight: 2.4oz --> 2.0oz
Surprised at how much different they are in size.
Just some food for thought.
...vx nano or MS arc both come to mind... I like my v470 BT and my v450 Micro (receiver) units...
If you still want something that looks Apple-like, I suggest MacMice. It's available in silver, too.
Targus also has some very nice selections
By minimalist i didn't mean small, i meant something like a "sculpture" (wrong word) like maeby the microsoft arc shape but nicer. Thanks!
older apple pro mouse...
The older Apple Pro Mouse, the one before the Mighty Mouse. "Where's the button?"
It's still my favorite mouse.
The old commodore mouse.
You mean like the Apple hockey puck mouse?
I think dbwie was talking about the one you see above.
What about Microsoft's new Arc Mouse, its kinda cool - oops I said the M word - apologies, but the product looks good.
