best monitor for a macbook?

    does anyone have any monitors they recommend for the macbook? i have a blackbook, 2.4ghz, 2 gigs ram etc. the mac cinema display is just way too much money for me.

    A good friend of mine bought a 24 inch Dell widescreen monitor off of eBay for ~$250 or so. It worked really, really well and looked beautiful.

    And hey, it's a LOT cheaper than the Apple Cinema Displays. Haha.

    I've heard of a lot of other people going with Dell's monitors too. They're just a great value, plain and simple.

    Dells are pretty decent and can be had for cheap. Samsungs are also pretty good. Unless u need color accuracy for pictures you can go for lower end models too

    once you buy a cinema display, you'll never go back.
