I am looking at a pointer to either find a downloadable color profile or customize my own color profile.
I had my M5 Air next to an old M3 Pro and the Pro was a bit brighter,. to be expected.
However the contrast and the white color didn't seem that great on my MBA M5. Is there a color profile I can download and try
or directions for how to customize a color profile. So far it seems very minor changes I can do with the color profile.

Or is this the improved screen on the Pro causing this?

Thanks for any insight!

The pro has a very different screen from the air. Mini led screen with much better contrast and brightness.

I'd start by doing basic calibration side-by-side and simultaneously. That is, put the screens physically adjacent, and then run a custom color calibration on both at once, adjusting at each step so they look as similar as possible.

I would keep everything default. to do a true apples to apples (heh) comparison, make sure to disable night shift, True Tone, and automatic brightness. you will probably find that they're very close to equivalent, and hopefully the Pro Display is better. these are factory calibrated already.
