About to order the new Mac Mini that was presented yesterday.
I also needs a monitor, It will be an IPS screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 but I'm not sure what will be best with resolution / scaling, is it 27 "or 32"?

But Im not sure if i get it right.
Mac OS works best with the PPI 110 och 220 for Retina?
If I get a 27" 4k it will be 163 PPI, and If I get a 32" QHD its 92 PPI
Wouldnt it be better with a 27" QHD and avoid scaling?
You have to excuse me if I totally missunderstand because I don´t get it

I have a 32" BenQ 1440p monitor for my 2018 Mini and love it. There is no scaling if you run a QHD monitor at native resolution, the size of the screen is irrelevant in that respect. However (obviously) text will be larger on a 32" QHD monitor than a 27" QHD screen.

So it really comes down to personal choice, I used a 23" Apple Cinema display since 2006 and was very happy with the text size on that screen, it was 100 ppi. My 32" screen is 92 ppi, so text is slightly larger and that's fine for me.

FWIW I went with a 27" 1440p monitor.

I don't see a need for 4K personally at 27" (YMMV). And I currently run a 27" iMac (with 1440 res) and the size suits me.
