Im currently using the BT apple mighty mouse and it sometimes feels like escorting a OAP accross the road, very very very slowly... Seems to lag so much some of the time and not too bad other times...

What alternatives are there? i think logitech and the best alternatives?

I have a wired keyboard so not bothered whether its wired or bt - think wired gives better reliability and i have a mbp hooked up to a hp 24" monitor so dont really need the bt function.

Mice are a pretty personal thing.

My designers love the Mighty Mouse, one just switched to the Magic Mouse and loves that even more.

I dont really care for either.

Go figure.

How about a trip to BestBuy, Office XXX, etc and try a few?

ill prob keep the bt mm as theres no way im getting rid of the bt phat keyboard with its juicy numeric keypad.

ive bought a £25 logitech corded mouse - which will be more reliable than the bt mm (seems to lag when im uploading stuff to youtube) adn then not so crap when im not

I'm currently using a Logitech VX Nano, from a wireless Mighty Mouse. I really disliked the Mighty Mouse's clogging up and I'm not too keen on buying the Magic Mouse due to the lack of exposé functions. No problems functioning on Final Cut Pro here.

haha that looks mental!

hmmm it has a jog wheel, would be handy....

DAM! another expensive gadget i MUST buY! anyone know where i can get this 'Shuttle Pro V2' in the uk - only one guy on ebay is selling, its second hand...

If you're still looking, this place - http://www.enhanceyours.com - is the cheapest. £70 all-in - but other places are doing them as well.

The reason for they were difficult to find is that Contour moved production and the units also have a new chipset - I found this out from Contour as I was having trouble finding them and can not rate their assistance high enough.

Contour Design Shuttle

Thanks for that. We have two models of multimedia controllers with jog & shuttle wheels, the ShuttleXpress and the ShuttlePRO v2.
