My post was not in the slightest about whether I like the mouse or not. It was an attempt to help you resolve a problem. Fair enough, you don't want help.
No I don’t, but thanks. You jumped to the conclusion that there was something wrong, when there isn’t. I just don’t like the mouse like many, many others. 👍🏼

MX Master 3 is probably the best mouse available
Ayup. I always disliked the 'Magic' Mouse. Charging is silly, but acceptable since it isn't needed that often. Worse is the rather small surface, flat design and cursor speed settings. Also I miss real haptic feedback. But ymmv, of course.

Owning the MX Master 3 now and couldn't be more happier. Gestures? I have two scroll wheels and several buttons I can map freely like to Mission Control, but also to individual app functions like Photoshop brush size. Haptic feel and design (bright grey model) are awesome.

It works both with BT and an optional radio dongle, with hot swapping between 3 systems, like in my case iMac (OSX), iMac (Win) and MBP. Best office/creativity mouse and decent for causal gaming.

I read your post describing a similar problem with tracking and accuracy as another user, and since I don't have that experience, I assumed you were hoping there might be a fix.

There is, but if you don't like the mouse for whatever reason, that's fine by me. The fact I use mine doesn't mean I have anything invested in it as a product, other than that it works. For me, that's mostly because I suffer RSI, and the flatter a mouse is the less pain it causes to use it.

The ergonomics of computing devices are very personal to the individual - good luck finding a suitable alternative - though I wouldn't expect the '$7 mouse from Walmart' to be it!

I've been using the Logitech Trackman Marble Trackball Mouse for many years. It has been healthier for my arm, elbow, and wrist than a traditional mouse. It is not quite as precise as a mouse or trackpad but it's fine for my needs (I don't use my Mac much for gaming or drawing).

Who knew there was such passion about mice. While I do like my Logitech mice and don't care for the Mighty Mouse. Outside of gaming. Which mouse I use isn't that big a deal to me. Unless it's unreliable or faulty.

I just got my Logitech many years ago. Because I wanted a scroll wheel and more buttons for gaming. It had good user reviews. So, I bought it. Unlike previous mice. It held up really well. So, I kept buying them.

I'd probably be perfectly happy with a Corsair or Razer mouse. But if I'm going to spend $60+. I'll stick with a brand I know, from personal experience, works as expected and holds up.

It must stink for lefties when it comes to find comfortable mice. As there just seems to be a few oddball mice and mice designed for either hand. Which seems odd. As there's a ton of right handed mice. While the left handed market is much smaller. There's also no competition. Seems like a gold mine going after left handed users. As you'd be one of one in the market rather than one of a hundred.

Logitech for me and it has been for many years -- mutiple different ones. Can't go wrong. Even the inexpensive ones are good.

I'm using a Cherry MC 4000, which is an incredible mouse for the money if you can stand the cable. It works pretty well on difficult surfaces, like the glass desk I have at the office.

I used to use the Magic Mouse, I got it as a present. I've used it for about 7 years or so, but only when I use my MacBook in desktop mode with an external display and keyboard. This was in my home situation, before the work from home situation.

Things changed. Where I used to use my Magic Mouse only a few hours per day, I now started using it the full day. And guess what: ergonomically definitely horrible.

At the office I recently got a new desktop, along with a HP keyboard and a Logitech Master MX3. With a simple button press you can swap between different computer setups, so I set it to my office Windows PC, my iPad Pro, and my personal MacBook Pro. Best choice ever:
- ergonomically well designed
- wonderful scroll wheel (seriously, look it up. It works with an electromagnetic system).
- The thumb button works as a click-hold-swipe action between desktops/spaces, and also works with mission control. Of course, you can set it to the action you would like.
- It has a back/next button, which is placed a little different than the MX2S, and for the better!
- The second scroll wheel is there, but I must admit I hardly use it.
- Charges through USB-C on the front, so you can still use it while charging (looking at you there, Apple).
- Charges last a long time, weeks/months in my case.

Soon my new iMac will arrive, and I ordered the trackpad with it. I definitely enjoy using the trackpad on my MBP, so chose that over the Magic Mouse. If it turns out the trackpad is not as precise as I want it or does not fill my needs, I will happily connect the MX3 to the new iMac.

To bad it didn't come in a blue aluminum color ;)

... Seems I may have to give the Magic Trackpad a go and if I don’t like it, I can return it as a lot of you have said.
I support this 100%. The flexibility with the trackpad is incredible. You will not be sorry. I will never go back (unless I actually need minute precision movement, but I'm not a graphic designer).

I didn't care for the magic mouse either. Got the Roccat Kone Pure Ultra in White, works great for my size hands and grip.
I have an old Roccat and it's great in my hand. I just don't like a wired mouse these days.

Bought a Logitech Triathlon after trying the MX Master 3. Returned it because I need to reach too far to get to the scroll wheel. I have another Triathlon I use for my laptop and find it to be the perfect size and shape. I almost got the MX Anywhere 3 but the demo felt too small. It has a scroll wheel like MX Master 3 and sometimes it's janky scrolling up and down.
