I'm a new Mac user and didn't get a Magic Mouse on purchase. Heard some iffy reviews and wanted to get a wireless mouse that doesn't require the usb dongle. I used to use a Logitech on my pc laptop that had a usb insert that connected the mouse but with only thunderbolt ports I'm not sure...

Computer is a MacBook Pro 2019 w/ 4 TB

I like the Logitech MX mice (I've had a MX Performance and a MX Master) if a big, chunky, sculpted (and hence, irrevocably right0handed) mouse floats your boat. The new MX Master 3 has just been released and sounds good (basically, more of the same).

It can use either a dongle (USB-A) or Bluetooth (and can be paired with 3 devices) and the USB charging socket is sensibly positioned so you can still use the mouse while it is charging (possibly the most laughable failing of the Magic Mouse).

Just not impressed with the longevity for a £100 mouse - both of mine died after about 3 years (the new one just in time for the Mk3 to come out - coincidence, I'm sure...).

I use an old-fashioned Logitech marble/trackball mouse with my MBP; there's a wireless version. I like that I can use it whilst lying in bed, since it doesn't need a flat surface to work.

I've gone through over a half dozen mice (including MM2) trying to find one that was wireless (bluetooth or better) and didn't suck (has 2 buttons and real wheel, no drop outs or stutter or lag, et al). Finally found the Logitech G603. This is a great mouse. I have a ton of 2.4ghz interference in my area, this mouse is the first wireless mouse (I'm assuming because of the 'Lightspeed' technology) that has yet to succumb to wireless hell.
