I have been testing various Music Player to play hi-res files an a high-end music system. Started with iTunes and BitPerfect, also tried Amarra Junior, Audirvana Plus and Fidelia. Recently tried Vox and find that to be cleaner than any other player. Shows more detail. What are you using? What sounds the best?

There should be no difference between players. The "quality" of the sound is fully dependent upon the encoded file and the hardware in your system. The software players should all be generating the exact same waveform.

SHOULDA, COULDA,WOULDA but don't!. They all sound different on a revealing system. Each emphasizes a different portion of the audio spectrum. Yøu hear details when listening to Vox that you never hear with iTunes.
