In the Windows world, the Fujitsu fi-7300NX Color Duplex Scanner 600 dpi
is a recognized industry leader for network scanning.

However its not compatible out-of-the-box with Mac's. There is an anftermarket
software offered by another company, but I'm shy to go that route preferring
to find a network scanner that, from the experience of Mac users, comes highly
recommended.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Your Mac has a built in scanner app called “image capture”, it’s in the utilities folder. It might work. Not sure about network connections though.

Not a network scanner, but Fujitsu’s other scanners work very well with this app… email the developer for Monterey info. Hes pretty responsive.

we have the predecessor to the fi-7160, and it works well. Only complaint is lack of blank page detection. Have used fscanx for a number of years now.

exactScan offers that functionality, but I have no personal experience.
