Again not a headline, but I remember seeing a Japanese knife on TV that had been imported and the safety instructions had not been translated very well, they read:

KEEP OUT OF CHILDREN

I really enjoyed this when it came out:

I much prefer british tabloids to american ones tho... have you guys across the pond ever seen Weekly World News? I'm really ashamed for us all. The Mirror and The Sun have a bit of class by comparison... and they don't have Batboy

The weekly world news is fiction for the most part. They take a bit of hyperbole or metaphor and write a story as if it were true. The did a story about flying saucers and space travel that was based on the moller sky car.

I saw another story that I recognized from another newspaper. Something about a zombie girl dancing the night away at the prom. It was based on a quote along the lines of "I died, when the team lost the championship"

What I fear is when they start using the Onion as source material.

I rather liked one in The Sun newspaper a few years back in the UK, after a football game between Scottish teams Caledonian Thistle and Celtic.

I bet the journo had been DREAMING of this day...

"SUPER CALLY ARE FANTASTIC CELTIC ARE ATROCIOUS"

Mind you, The Sun did come out with some Blinders - when the General Belgrano was sunk in the Falklands conflict, the front page just read:

"GOTCHA!"

Sort of says it all, really...
