Which memory vendor is the best?

I have purchased from The Upgrade Place twice over the past 3 years and never had a problem with their memory sticks.

The other two I keep hearing about are Crucial and Kingston.

What have peoples experience with these been?

This would be for the new iMac i7

I've bought from OWC twice, good experiences both times. A lot of people like newegg.

I've been using Crucial for more than 10 years, for many different kinds of memory. I've been completely satisfied with everything -- every module, every transaction. One 512 mb stick failed after 4 or 5 years -- that's it, out of what must be fifty or sixty modules or kits (maybe more).

Other vendors may be just as good. I don't know, because I've always dealt with Crucial.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go with Crucial this time as Amazon has a good price. J&R has it even lower and if you link with Bing Shopping you get 5% back on the purchase price. Less than $77....:D

Don't forget to see about buying direct from Crucial. That's what I always do.

Thanks, but I have always had good luck with Amazon and J&R. Crucial price is higher when you buy direct. I am going to chat with them today just to confirm that the limited lifetime warranty still applies if you purchase it from a non direct source.

I've had good experiences ordering from "datamem.com"

Excellent pricing and they have a useful site for helping you find what you need.
