I am very much interested in buying one of the older Apple keyboards they don't make anymore. Essentially the USB version of the current mini-bluetooth keyboard.

My work doesn't allow bluetooth keyboards :)( ) but I particularly want to use an Apple keyboard style, as well, the bluetooth one I use frequently is awesome.

Unfortunately that keyboard is not in production anymore so I am looking for a replacement. Ideally, I would be able to find a keyboard which nearly exactly is the same - I like the aluminum construction as well as overall solidness, plus the lack of a number pad and chicklet keys.

This keyboard seems like the best bet on Amazon but I'm somewhat skeptical given that it is plastic.

Mathias Slim One Keyboard. High-quality brand, so that should be what you're looking for. And it isn't expensive, either.

However, you can still buy new Apple Wired Keyboards.

Hmmm I'll have to check those out. It seems they are made of plastic? Looks like Worst Buy has them, maybe I'll stop by and see if they are ok before pulling the trigger.

I'm sad that there is not even a premium product here. I must be the only person in the world who wants one of these types of keyboards...
