After going through eight different brands, finally found a *non* edge-to-edge screen protector that has minimal/almost no edge lift.

The New Trent Arcadia Tempered Screen Protector for iPhone 6/6 Plus (I have the 6 Plus).

*Every* other screen protector I've bought had a fair amount of edge lift/overhang. I took a gamble on this one, and they're one of the few companies that's actually measured where the *flat* surface of the screen is. Again, you don't get edge-to-edge, but at least you don't have that janky glue/adhesive outline around the entire screen protector. And it's also pretty cheap (12 bucks from Amazon):
