I'm looking for an iPad 2 in NYC and I'm wondering where people have had recent success in finding iPad's with 4.3.3 on them.

I'm assuming I should avoid the Apple stores. But what about places like Best Buy, Target? Or maybe the smaller local authorized retailers?

Where do you guys think I would have the best shot of getting an iPad with 4.3.3?

Thanks!

I originally purchased a 16 gb blk wifi only ipad2 from best buy and was disppointed to find out it was on 4.3.5 but decided to exchange for 32gb and lo-behold it's 4.3.3 Immediately....jailbroke and all happy.

I don't know if you gotten the 16 or 32 but that's just my story. BTW....I'm in SoCAl.

Or you could just mod the hosts file in iTunes so apple doesn't have to sign it. Then you can put 4.3.3 or any other firmware on it.

Not if the blobs haven't been saved and its already been updated past 4.3.3.

Well I did, I don't know about your experiences or anything but it worked for me. I left my iPad charging on the family room computer and my brother came a long and updated it to 4.3.5. Then I #'ed out the last line of the host file and restored it to 4.3.3.
