So I know Macs have TRIM and that SSD optimization probably isn't totally necessary, but the placebo effect for me at the very least gives me peace of mind.

I've been following this for my rMBP 15" w/ Mavericks (only applying what is necessary):
http://blog.alutam.com/2012/04/01/optimizing-macos-x-lion-for-ssd/

  • Turned off hibernation, I don't ever use the feature and don't want to.
  • Set noatime flag
  • RAM disk for HDD temp files
  • Turned off sudden motion sensor
  • Turned off hard drive sleep
  • Disabled cache for Google Chrome completely by setting cache folder to read-only.

Is there anything else I should do? Or is anything I've already done bad? Is there a better way? Does Mavericks make some of these obsolete?
