Amateur photographer here. I really like Photos in OS X (iPhoto was a mess), and I'm interested in adding some power into Photos. Something that is user friendly, and not too expensive. What are your favorite Photos Extensions?

I Like Snapheal. You can remove objects from your photos etc. maybe check that one out and see for yourself.

A while back, there was a discussion in the Digital Photography forum here about extensions for Photos.

You should do some browsing in that forum...

Good idea, I'll take a look over there. Thanks!

I can recommend a couple:

Macphun have a whole suite of apps/extensions (most but not all work from within Photos)
- Noisless cleans up the 'noise' from low light, high ISO pictures
- Tonality gives a pile more options than the (very lacklustre) 'Filters' in Photos
- Intensify lets you add special effects to make your photos pop
DxO also have an extension that corrects lens artefact (chromatic aberration and pin cushioning) as well as one click enhancements, noise reduction etc. The trick with this extension is that you have to do it before any other edits.
