What is the best FREE application for keeping passwords and sensitive information? So far, I used excel protected with a password, but I decided to leave excel and try something new. So, what do you suggest?

Keychain Access.

Well, I know you said FREE, but I can vouch, with my life, for 1Password. It's an expensive piece of software at $35.95, but it is amazingly good at what it does. Sorry if this was not helpful to you.

If you really want a free solution, Apple's own built-in Keychain Access isn't bad, and its integration with Safari is decent, though glitchy at best.

+1 for the 1Password. I downloaded a free version of it. I thinks it's like 2.9.1, and since then I think they've made a 3rd version, but it works for me. Here's the 2.9.1 link. Download the latest version

@Shu15 a word of advice, careful how you create links in this forum. You keep missing out the quote mark at the end of the URL thus rendering the links dead. Just pointing that out cos you did that too in your pm. cheers =)
