Which one do you use? Which one is best?

I have tried various (pedometer++, Duffy, Stepz, etc etc) and struggle to find one that updates regularly.

I know that you’re looking at a minimum of a 30 min refresh but I find a lot of them get stuck. Frustrating that the native Activity app doesn’t have a pedometer complication.

ActivityTracker

instantly updating (but most really good activity apps are good at this...)
customizable
easy to see daily/weekly/monthly progress

Downloaded both, noticed they require a subscription/one time payment to edit the Watch app settings and syncing.

Before I plunge, how customisable are the complications? Can you view number of steps on the circular comps?

Indeed. I think it’s excellent. I paid for it to get full health integration etc.
Can you customise the appearance of complications in the paid version? I’d love my circular complication in my info graph modular face, to display the number of steps rather than just the little app icon

Upload a pic of which complication you mean and I’ll have a look

Does it refresh on the complication or do you need to press for it to go into the app to refresh?
It refreshes on the complication - seamlessly so far as well unlike some of the others that sometimes get stuck

Ok, so it means I would have to purchase the app in order to get the steps refreshed.

Here’s mine.

I was about to say, I wonder what happens when I’ll get to 1000 steps and would assume that it’ll display it as 1k, like Duffy does - post above confirms it.

Yep, the round one. Can’t upload a screenshot at the moment but here’s the settings on the app;

Looks like this. It displays the actual number of steps up to 999, then abbreviates the count to the #.#k.

Thanks all. I misread the figure. I assumed it was distance. Didn’t even enter my head it could be thousands! D’oh!

Stepwise’s complication isn’t bad, steps and distance.

This complication at the top in the second screenshot is called HealthView.
