Hi :),
I am looking for a good phone for under $150 USD. I have had an iPhone for the last six months, so haven't been keeping up with what the rest of the phone market, and I have no idea what would be good.

The only thing I need it to do (other than the obvious phone functionality) is to play music. Anyone have any suggestions? Or bought a reasonably priced phone recently that your happy with?

Thanks :)

I was going to suggest getting a Moto RAZR - I've had one for a while and it's been the best phone I've ever had. Great battery life, too.

However, mine is the RAZR v3c, which doesn't play music.. I picked it up on eBay, with the charger, in great shape for $70. I'd say try eBay.

With or without contract?

The BlackBerry Curve is quite good, especially when running OS 4.5.

The only problem is that it may or may not be 3G, depends on your carrier.

+1 on the BlackBerry Curve. I know a few people who have it, they call it the CrackBerry because they love it so much.
