Can anyone beat Apple's $350 price for a single 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM?
Any stores to checkout? Newegg had zero in stock.
Thank you!

$350US for 2GB ram! Sounds like a good deal to me, as IIRC our apple store charges $1000AU ($782US) for that.

I think it's one of the better prices you're going to find. Most places are out of stock like Newegg and if you find one, it'll cost the same but most likely a lot more.

OK, sounds like Apple 'tis the place. Thank you.
So, just to make sure, I need a single 2GB stick and a single 1GB stick to max out the RAM on the 17" C2D to 3GB? (Basically, only two slots, right?)
Thanks!

Yes only 2 slots and 3GB is max.

I was getting my hopes up at the $350 price, but checked it out - that's for 2x1GB SODIMMs, not a single 2GB. OWC still gets $599. I think it's gonna be a bit before they become "reasonably" priced.

Holy cow! You're right! Thank you for slapping me into reality. I was actually going to order that. What a disappointment that would have been!
No way do I want to shell out 600 smackers for a 2GB stick... I'll "plod along" with my 2GB...
