I need a sleeve or case or bag for my 17" MBP but wasn't impressed with the range available at the Apple Store...

I'm not entirely sure exactly what I want, but I'll know it when I see it. Cost is not an issue within reason. I probably haven't got time to buy one on-line as it need it for Monday.

Any further suggestions of where to check out apart from John Lewis?

    Thanks
    BV

Your favourite shop - Cancom :)

They carry some of the STM range, Crumpler bags, Tucano sleeves etc.

I think they might also now do the be.ez LArobe sleeves, which have very nice padding; I bought my sister one of those for her iBook and it's much thicker than the Tucano ones.

I've ended up ordering one of the 'suggestions' the Apple online store made when I placed my MBP order. Just some black sleeve thing. If it sucks then I'll be trundling right back to this here thread ;)

Could still do with a half decent looking bag to put it into. I like slim, stylish looking bags... not these laptop rucksacks that make you look like you're ready to climb Everest!

I quite like this one, also by be.ez. You ordered a 15", right?
