Hey guys, new here!
I wasn't sure where the appropriate place is to post this, so I'll just go for it. I really want to get my hands on a 16gb red ipod nano, 5th generation. I've tried ebay, and all the models available are pricier than I can spend, or they're dinged up pretty badly. I have the 7th gen nano, and I just don't think it's for me. The coverflow turned out to be more important to me than I thought, not having it kind of ruined the experience for me. I had a 5th gen silver until it died a tragic death from old age and lots of love, and I really miss it. Also considering getting the 3rd gen red nano as possibly a backup, or stand in until I can actually afford the 5th gen -- it's just so dang cute! I did hear though that the 3rd gen sound quality is pretty bad, how true is that?

Anyway, does anybody have an idea where I can get one of these 5th gen reds for a decent price? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!!

What is your price range?

I guess I'm not completely sure tbh, but I can't spend $200+ on it as ebay is asking. Used is fine as long as it's good condition. I would like to keep it under $100 but that may be unrealistic. I can't believe how expensive these are when they're such an old model!

I will be selling the 7th gen ipod though, so that will probably go towards my budget.

Any reason it needs to be red and 5th gen? I am selling a blue 7g nano for $90 shipped.

Yeah, I'd like it to be red because I just like that color the best ^.^. And I have the 7g, it just doesn't agree with me.

They're expensive because people still want them. Personally, I have an iphone, but would love a 5th gen nano to use just for music and maybe radio.

Yeah dude, the 5th gen was awesome! :/ I wish they still made them so this would be easier for me...
