Best place to buy a used iPad1?

Just curious if anyone has an suggestions on getting a used iPad gen 1? I have looked to no luck on craiglist. Is there a selling forum on macrumors? Would like to test drive a used iPad wifi version for a while to see if I would actually use it for anything useful.

Try the Marketplace on the MacRumors Forums, if you can't see it then you don't have enough posts.

You can buy a refurbished from Apple.

not sure if you'd be able to test one out, but they are now cheaper from apple as refurbs, or you could check eBay. There is a marketplace on MR, but unfortunately your post count isn't high enough to view it.

Get a refurb from Apple or one from ebay. Make sure that it's in good condition!

I would say just get a refurb from the apple store. They are only 350 for the base model and you get a full 1 year warranty too!

well they are out on the refurb 16 GB model [but they do have the 3G model too for a little more..]

Yeah I would also try direct from Apple, at least then you have the piece of mind that if anything goes wrong you have the warranty to fall back on.
