Hi,

Im from EU, so Amazon.de is giving 2 years warranty for the iPhone according to the chat, meanwhile Apple only gives 1 year.

Where would you guys buy from and why? How is Amazon when it comes to repair? Do they repair or send you new device like Apple often do?

Apple. Last time I bought an apple device through amazon it was very very hard to send it back.
No issues with sending back when buying at apple directly.

Amazon does not repair Apple devices, however, they do have a return policy. That's here in the US. You would need to contact Amazon customer service in the EU and ask them.

Always Amazon for me; if you have any problem in 2 years, they will send you a new unit or 100% money refund; they do not repair anything, as Apple does.

I sent back a 23 month old macbook pro with battery issues and had received the 100% of what I paid in 2017...

Of course, don't abuse on that.

Where is the problem? Buy it from Amazon and call Apple if you had a problem.
EU warranty law always apply. If you buy Apple Care+ after, you have no problems at all with Apple.
Amazon in Germany offers an 5 month part payment for free.

Hey man, just so you're aware if you buy it from Apple they also support you for 2 years. Maybe more. That's not a gesture of good will that EU consumer law. I've had to wield that bit of paperwork a few times to get my Airpods fixed.

In the UK they actually cover you up to 5 years after purchase. Amazon would do this also. But if you buy from Amazon and develop any faults you need to go back to Amazon. This is why I pick Apple as I can book an appointment and walk into a store rather than send stuff off.

I'm sure there would be something similar in place for you German guys and girls.
