So I'm sure this has been answered lots but I couldn't find a relevant thread so where's the best place to buy some more ram for my G5?

ramjet.com

I got 2GB coming for my macbook which should arrive today. I purchased RAM for my 2.3 G5 from ramjet and have been very happy.

It doesn't appear that datamem offers a lifetime warranty. That is ludacris. Lifetime is standard in the memory industry. Their lack of a lifetime warranty and inflated prices will keep me from buying from them.

i recommend other world computing (macsales.com) strongly. they are great to deal with, and have good prices (maybe not the basement) with lifetime guarantees. i just think it's worth supporting the solid, small company with great customer service over the big company with crap service (eg. macmall)

"We warrant our memory modules against any electrical or manufacturing defects for the life of the original owner. EconoRAM Memory modules have a 1 year guarantee."

Their DMS Certified modules have a lifetime warranty. EconoRAM modules are tested and guaranteed compatible memory, you tade off the lower price for a 1 year warranty.

You are right. Sorry about that. However, $27 bucks more(compared to the Econo RAM) for their certified memory is a bit steep. Considering I can get a 1GB stick of god memory elsewhere for under $90, with a lifetime warranty.

Heh. You have to be immortal to buy it though.

I can see it now - "Credit card number- thank you. Deity registration? You don't? No I'm sorry Mr. Gates, you don't qualify for the God pricing"

Funny stuff :D
