Best place to sell gear?

Hi there-

Where is the best place to sell gear for an inexperienced trader?

I'm trying to balance convenience, security, and price.

Trade-ins seem to offer lowest price, most security, if I were going to purchase something, which I'm not right now.

I don't know how to evaluate ebay/swappa/facebook marketplace.

I know macrumors has a marketplace, but I'm a long way from qualifying.

I'll welcome experiences/advice/creditable references.
