The Land of Hope and Glory
I'm going to try and get away for a little bit and need to get a power bank that will keep my devices running as long as possible. I've heard good things about Anker but was wondering if there were any other choices? As I said I'm looking for the power bank with the absolute amount of power possible at the moment.

Do you have to fly? Airlines have a limit of power bank size that you can fly with (100Wh).

I got this and I'm pretty happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerC...mzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840 It's fairly mobile, can keep my MBP 16' and my iPhone charged for some time.

But "as long as possible?" I'd go with something like this if you can:

This will keep them powered for quite some time. Depending on your $ budget - you can get some that go way past 1000Wh.

Thank you for the very useful post.

I think the last two are out of my budget. I could push to £200 to £250 I think. I will not be flying though, just camping in some woods near where I live.

I'd consider something like this:

That'll keep your iPhone charged and depending on how much work your MacBook is doing, should keep your MacBook from dropping too badly during the day.

Definitely recommend the 87w battery in my first post - but Anker is really pushing their "power prime" batteries https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Portable-Charger-Digital-Compatible/dp/B0BYNZXFM2/ref=sr_1_2?crid=FSR8W5YXRJ2O&keywords=anker+power+prime&qid=1694488200&sprefix=anker+power+pri,aps,191&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do:amzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840 but the 87w in my first post has a little bit more juice (mAh) in it.

If you're driving up to the campsite, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0817V8N5P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - these panels recharge my 87w Anker battery in no time. It can top off my MBP 16 and charges my iPhone all at the same time.

Thing to note about a battery is that due to the voltage requirements on your MBP - it's gunna drain a battery pretty quickly. My MBP 16 can drain a 256Wh battery in about 4-5 hours doing medium work (30-40watts per hour).

Hope this helps. Jealous of you getting away for a bit :D Sounds like something that would extend lifespan!

I use Nitcore's super thin Carbon Fibre 10,000MaH unit. It is ridiculously light for the size and weight, I take it with me everywhere.
