I'm currently using Pixelmator, since I couldn't get Photoshop. Anyway, i'm creating a full-sized ad (8.5 x 11.0), and i'm looking to get a copy printed that is as clean and clear as possible. I'm not totally sure that printing within the program is the best possible way. I have a Canon PiXMA iP4300, so I know its probably capable of doing better what I could achieve on my own, but I just don't know how to optimize it to its fullest. It comes with a program called EasyPhotoPrint, but i'm unsure about that with my situation. What settings should I use, as well as the best paper to use?

Maybe you could take the file to be printed at the local photo store. The CVS by me has an onsite photo lab. You just pop in a SD card and BOOM! Nice high quality photo prints. I wonder if that's an option for you. I bet your ad would look nice on photo paper.
