Best Protective Case?

I'm thinking of going with the otterbox for my 4S... I'm
always outside, at the barn, biking, etc.

Any sugguestions?

I recommend the camo defenders if you like the design. the silicone is a lot more sturdy and rarely/never comes out.

Otterbox cases would be perfect if they weren't lint magnets. The Incipio NGP offers a great amount of protection if you are okay with the headphones and 30 pin ports being exposed. Thats what I throw on my 4s when I feel like I need the extra protection, they are cheap as well considering what you get and fit well.
