I would go for 2 of these

they are especially tested on mac compatibility. (probably it would not make a difference, don't know exactly)

Makes no difference at all, it's the same thing, just more expensive.

Always newegg. And be sure to read the reviews as a lot of users have macs and report how the memory fares for them.

Hi guys I ended buying some local ram Strontium http://www.strontium.biz/products/memory-modules/notebook-memory/ddr3-4gb-1066mhz

from a store, was $40 USD or $50 SGD which was pretty cheap considering it was branded as MAC memory specifically, it came with lifetime warranty, and was selling for $69 SGD at another shop, so all in all I paid $100 which was WAY cheaper than Kingstons $120 SGD for Valuram or much more for the mac branded ones.

branding something as Apple/Mac specific is a scam to be able to charge more for it, they have the same guts as "normal" computers.

Was this a mistake? That memory is for an iMac, not a MBP.
