Nobody mentioning PaperLike? Seems all the YouTubers rave about them? Is that because they are sent them for free I wonder?

I‘m waiting for the Mothca to be available for the 13 inch model. I‘m hoping it’s a good compromise between screen quality and anti-glare close to the nano textures. Haven’t been super happy with the glare outdoors with tempered ones…

I have the Mothca Matte glass protectors on my 11-M4, 11-M1, 12.9-M2, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 12. I like them a lot! They do dampen some of the clarity, but the lack of glare more than makes up for it. I highly recommend them.

Tried the Bellemond and love it. Although harder to install I think I prefer it to the PaperLike.

Don't bother with Paperlike, they're very expensive and only for artists. They also wear out because they're not glass.

If all you want is no glare, then any of the glass matte screen protectors out there on Amazon will do the job and work great. It is like getting a removable nano texture display at a fraction of the cost.

which one do you recommend? I still have not been able to find one....

I'm in the same boat with my Spigen. The glare makes it feel like I need to "look past" the glass to view the screen if that makes sense. Driving me nuts.

I found this protector, but I can't tell if it's matte or simply anti-glare (like Flolabs are for iPhone).

Edit: I've ordered the protector from the above link and will let you guys know. If it's anything like Flolab, this will be the protector to buy for sure.

I finally got the “anti-glare” protector and I’m disappointed to say it’s just a matte glass protector. No where on the site description or the product packaging does it claim to be matte. I wouldn’t have purchased it had I known this.

Text looks blurry. Glass is smoother than Nano Texture surface. Smudges wipe away easily. Installation was a breeze. Works well for anti-glare but it’s not worth $50 when there are other matte protectors on Amazon for less.

I’ll keep looking for a nice tempered glass protector that doesn’t have a ton of glare.

Just a small heads-up. I was able to preorder a Bellemond screen protector for the 13” M4 (Kent paper type).

Small update for us US Amazon buyers. The Bellemond 13 inch iPad Pro screen saver is now listed, but as "Temporarily out or stock".

Tried the Bellemond and love it. Although harder to install I think I prefer it to the PaperLike.

What’s all that fuss about the Bellemond screen protector? Is it really that good? Doesn’t produce the rainbow effect on white screens?

I couldn't tell you.

The previous models are highly recommended by some artists, so I was curious. The item was delayed so many times I went with Rock Paper Pencil. When I did receive my Bellemond, I never opened it, I stayed with Rock Paper Pencil.

Isn’t this just the same as the one I have? They're both matte

Well, I assume both the RPP and the Bellemond distort the image making it look grainy with the famous rainbow effect making it less sharp, right? The question is… to what degree? Because on the M4 iPad Pro nano textured glass, yes, the grain is there, but barely noticeable… is either of those so good?

I had the Mothca matte glass, the best of the glass screen protectors I’ve tried, but ended up removing it because the screen looked so much crispier without it… but if you don’t care about the grain and the rainbow effect, it’s great.

I am not sure I understand the issue. It doesn't matter what the grain looks like, because it's the texture of the screen that's important. For drawing, sketching, reading, the image is fine, it's the resistance to the pencil that's important. It's why you buy either the Bellemond and / or RPP.

The quality of the image isn't really an issue. At least I don't find it an issue. You aren't using either of these screen protectors as long term screen protectors. They are both removable. So when I am done for the day and want to play some games or watch videos, I remove the screen protector easily. I get the full clarity of the 13in iPP, and the next day I put the screen protector on & get back to work.

Ohhh they are removable!
Okay, I think I understand now.

Is there a consensus best screen protector for the new iPads?

I ordered myself a fixed version of ZAGG XTR3 (where there is a cutout for the camera and microphone), because of the easy installation. But there is also us hoda, with their premium version of anti-reflective glass. According to the reviews that I found on taobao, they are quite good. But they don't have a mounting frame so I chose zagg.

Hmm the Hoda sounds like it mimics the Flolab for a coating that provides anti-reflectivity. Agreed that a lack of mounting frame is disappointing for the price.
