Hey all, I am trying to run VMware Fusion with Win7 on my 2008 MBP but it seems like it lags a lot. Can anyone help me with what the best setting for the VMWare would be?

    MBP Specs.
Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory 6 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512 MB
    Software OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)

    Any help would be appreciated.

check if your core 2 has support for intel VT, if not it will be sort of slow. also check if the 3d accel is enabled and working, windows 7 needs that unless you disable the aero.

Also just assign the VM 1 CPU core, nothing more and 2-3GB of RAM.
