Best Settings for Instant Handbrake DVD backup?

I want to take some of my DVDs on vacation on my laptop and would also like to use the files occasionally on my iPod or AppleTV. Are the following settings optimal? I know that there are directions for Handbrake, but Instant Handbrake seems to be different.

Instant Handbrake is configured to output files appropriate for the iPod video and PSP. I think the resolution is pre-set for 320x240 (or it may be 640x480).

You might want to use Handbrake if you plan on using these files on the aTV.
