hey all. need some opinions.

best word to describe personal electronics such as cell phones computers tablets mp3 players?

examples would be gadgets, gizmos, devices, electronics.

this will be on a banner - not a lot of room for text. almost definitely needs to be one word but could maybe swing a short phrase. looking for the best thing for people to understand what objects we're talking about, while still sounding good (not putting 'personal electronics' on there, for example.)

thanks!

How about "personal electronics"🙄 😉

That seemed to work pretty well in your title. 🙂

Gadgets.

You don't want to get too technical with words like: Thingamabob, doohickey, doodad or whatchamacallit.

Tom Clancy's Net Force series had a word for their computer/phone/text/email device, derived from virtual global interface link: virgil.

Well, it has the virtue of being unique and memorable... Jus' sayin'.

Virgil is also an ancient Roman poet, best known for the Aeneid... I'm not sure how that ties into Clancy's work, but I'm sure it's not a coincidence. 🙂

I just call it "all my gear" if I'm meaning all my devices and any hardware that connects pieces of it.
