Using Autosleep.

Charged to 100% at 9pm, airplane mode on, wake off and when I woke up at 6.40 i had 99% battery left.

Very impressed with Autosleep.

That's because it doesnt run on the watch at all.

would you be able to share a quick peak of the GUI?

Not sure if the dev would be happy about that... but he did upload v2 today (or yesterday?) so it should be live soon.

I know, how cool is that? I guess it shows all the data is in Apple Health, you just need to interpret that data! (which autosleep does).

That's fine :) I await v2 :)

You are very lucky! I have a 4 year old and never sleep properly. I have been ill this week and have hardly slept! (which i know autosleep/Fitbit)

It looks almost the same, but there's lots of new stuff. Editing is much easier and Legend makes rings easier to read. I had to change sensitivity settings to get the same results as before. My S2 is on OS 3.1.1.

I agree that the Legend helps a lot.

Looks basically the same, but has more info now.

The integration with HeartWatch is was sells this app for me.

I actually just purchased the combo a couple days ago. Hows the best way to learn to read the info?

The one thing I found cool is that I could not fall asleep last night, and it stated that it took me 3:28 to fall asleep, the fact that it knew that blew me away.

I really wish FitBit would come out with an App for the Apple Watch. I suggested it on there board and they said if it gets enough votes, they actually consider it. There sleep tracker is amazing.

Also, I do believe Apple is working on adding a feature for tracking sleep to the watch. Can not wait for that.

I don't think Fitbit will ever release sleep app or any app for the Apple Watch. It's their competitor and if an apple watch tracked steps and sleep. Why buy a Fitbit? They need to sell Fitbits to survive!

Go Canes!

I use Sleep++. Limitation is that you need to tell it when you get up and when you go to sleep.
I just surprised how you are able to run Sleep++. On my AW2 it either could not start or report that it has no authorization to use motion and fitness data (of course it has them). I use AW2 (3.1), iPhone 6s (10.1.1).

Yesterday I set up AutoSleep, it is amazing. The only issue is UI, it is ugly. But AW data processing is impressive.

Before AutoSleep, I tired 6 apps: Sleep++, Heart Analyzer, Pillow, Sleep Diary, SleepHealth, and lark. No one was able to log sleep with AppleWatch.

I too started using HeartWatch and AutoSleep about a week or so ago and I absolutely love HeartWatch. It does a great job of what I need to see and keep up with regarding my HeartRate throughout the day/night. No so far as AutoSleep goes the UI is horrendous and I wish it did have a dark mode. There have been a few times when the app has reported I've been up for an hour or two during the night yet I never left my bed nor did I wake up. I'm unsure if it is an AW thing or if something else is having it believe I'm up and about. Also I had two nights when the app reported I had my AW on the charger for 2 hours...o_O

I look forward to more updates from AutoSleep.

I purchased Autosleep last week but it keeps reporting less than 4 hours of sleep, give or take an hour or two and I'm not sure what I might have done during the setup process that has given me so many incorrect reporting. I'm getting more than 6+ hours of sleep a night. Any suggestion would be helpful.

contact the dev? he's really helpful

I am not looking for anything revolutionary but I am in a stage of possibly having sleep apnea and going in for my sleep study soon.

I just got my watch last night and want to preliminarily start using an app to monitor heart rates during sleep, movements, etc.

I used Pillow last night and it is terrible as it forces the premium on you and none of the data synced up with the app and it also didn't even go off with the alarm that was picked.

Anyone using your watch as a sleep tracker and recommended app?

Thanks

For me to buy this watch I need it to monitor O2 lever and to start tipping and vibrate to wake me up when it getting low

Question for those of you who track your sleep....

I used to have a Jawbone UP that tracked my sleep. The data was cool to have, but I didn't really see a use for it. What do you use it for?

I used UP24 for 2 years just to track sleep and to wake up with its smart alarm before its battery has gone dead. Now I use AppleWatch and AutoSleep app to track sleep. I feel well if slept about 7 hours so this the only information I use from the data. Another useful feature for me is iOS10 Clock Bedtime reminder: it forces me to go bed in time and then to sleep at least 7 hours.

I did like the smart alarm on the UP. I'd love to find something like that on the Watch.

I'm a details person in regards to things I'm highly interested in. For the past few years I have more closely watched my body in how it reacts to my diet, exercise and any stress. I've begun to keep up with my sleep heart rate, amount of sleep along with some other HR related data I get from my AW to see what, if any, correlation lies between what I eat, when I sleep, how I sleep, etc.. and how I feel the next day. Personally I've found that my sleep heart rate has gone down along with my "good sleep" increasing since I've cut out salt, sugars and I've started drinking more water. I'm only getting older so the more data I have to try and figure out what the hell my body is doing and really what I'm doing to it the better I feel I can pull together some semblance of balance.

Also, it looks cool. ;)

From my point of view Smart Alarm is good if you need to wake up on unusual time, say 4am when you need to travel. There is a good chance that sleep is deep near this time and 30 minute interval is helpful. But if you used to wake up at 7am, then 20 minute interval means that you will wake up 20 minute earlier. So I believe Bedtime Reminder is more useful than Smart Alarm for the second case: you should not sleep less, you should sleep enough.

+1 for autosleep, great app. I also agree that the round UI is horrible, and it needs a dark mode for when I want to check it at night. I'm surprised the dev doesn't take these suggestions to heart as almost every review mentions this.

you'll love 3.2 when it finally lands then.

As for me, round UI is good, I prefer 24 hour circle.
When I spoke about ugly UI I ment the UI as is, it looks like some hacker's UI (like KDE, Gnome, etc), but not Apple style at all.
