You may not know that you can calibrate Autosleep. Its default level is way to generous. I use the second from the strictest setting to get a more accurate record of my sleep. No app can use a watch and truly detect sleep or deep stages sleep as this requires an EEG. They all are guesstimates.

completely agree. Sounds like the user didn’t bother to calibrate

I can’t find it.

The blank on the circle is times you’re awake, showing green on 2nd screen cap.

I looked at the new Watch sleep app. Did an ex military drill instructor write it? So many pages just to set up a required rigid sleep schedule that you can’t bypass. What a joke Who lives like that?

I am going to give the AutoSleep app a try and have a few questions for recent users.
1. Does AutoSleep let me do a bed time/alarm schedule?
if 1st is no than 2. Does this app works fine with Apple Sleep schedule?
3. Let me know if you find somethig missing in this app that should be there or maybe is in the other app that you reccomend?
I know that 4$ (or 19 PLN in my case) isn't a fortune but still I know few better ways to spend that money :)

I have used Pillow on and off over the last year or so as I have real issues sleeping and I wanted to get an idea of how bad it really is.

The app says my average time asleep is 5hrs 49mins - and sleep quality 55%

Ive given the AW new sleep app a go and it’s telling me my average time asleep is just over 8 hrs - which is nonsense. Plus there’s no indication of REM and deep sleep etc.

So I’ve reinstalled Pillow and wondered if you can run both to compare - or should I turn off the AW sleep app?

SleepWatch and AutoSleep are the best out of all the ones I’ve tried. I don’t like sleep apps that require you to start the app on your watch and run it all night. Both of these work automatically in the background. AutoSleep gives a lot of details and metrics. If you’re the kind of person that likes to deep dive into this kind of stuff I would definitely recommend AutoSleep. SleepWatch isn’t as in depth but still gives you a decent amount of information. My favorite is AutoSleep just because of the amount of information it gives you and it’s a one time purchase and doesn’t have a lot bunch of features locked behind a subscription.

If I use Autosleep am I supposed to turn off all the built in Apple sleep stuff?
