Best sound system for solely music??? Tips?

After hearing the new KRK Rokit RP series, I've been recommending them left right and centre - they're brilliant. They may be studio monitors, but there's an option to roll-off the high-end to make them more comfortable to listen to.
If you can afford to spend (a lot) more, then look for a Rotel amp and B&W speakers. They recently released their new 68x series, and the 686s are excellent little speakers (£270). Rotel's RA04 (£250) is also a great little amp and matches the B&Ws perfectly.
