Sorry to come off harsh, but there are a TON of threads. I had an Intel X25-M (might have arranged that wrong) and I decided to get the Intel 320 after doing a ton of reading on the reviews. I am an Intel fan so I stick with what I like. Some think I paid too much, others hate the reliability. There is just no such thing as the best when it comes to electronic. There is the best for each person.
That is a 2010 model so only supports SATA II drives. Both the Intel 320 and Samsung 470 are SATA II and very popular with few compatibility issues. I don't think you would go wrong with either of these.
