I've tried Leap, and whereas I think it is fairly robust, it is not very user friendly. How do people feel about Tags (the app?) Thanks!

I love Leap, but it's not always that handy.

Tags or Punakea reside in your menu bar, and allow you to tag like a kid on crank. Searches are very quick as well, and the tags work with Leap as well.

HoudahSpot works great for finding tagged files, but uses a service tp tag them that is a little more time consuming than Tags or Punakea.

They have demos, so try 'em out.

I've been using Leap for three years now and I find it immensely useful. The trouble is it hasn't been updated since November 2009 and it looks like the devs have lost interest in it. Still works well for now.

agreed. I've used leap and I like it, but there are some quirks to it, and I don't like that it's not in active development. Oh well!
