Elago S5 from Amazon. I got the dark grey with the soft feeling (it's a hard case with matte paint). I love it so far. It's not bulky and you can't feel it when sliding across because it doesn't go over the screen. Perfect peace of mind case.

Dito on the Elago S cases. Had one on my 4S and now one on my 5. VERY thin and light yet provides some drop protection.

Go start your own thread. I haven't dropped mine in 4 years so no need for ugly boxes that turns the slim phone into a brick.

Yeah yeah whatever just cuz u havent dropped your phone yet doesnt mean your not going to and certainly doesnt mean that no one else does, that was a pointless quote buddy, yeah, whatever, deal with it

I've been searching high and low for the slimmest iPhone 5 case available. Short of the few Desmay clones on eBay (see bottom of this post for links and thoughts), these are the ones I could find.

I ordered all of these. Below are my thoughts.

1. Snug fit and the front has extended lip around the screen edge the glass won't touch the table if you put it face down. Top & bottom are exposed. Generic cutout for volume buttons & vibrate switch.

2. Feels cheap. But it's slim. Top & bottom exposed.

3. Very well built. Fits perfectly. Top & bottom exposed.

4. Just like #3.

5. Not bad. This one's a matte color and not very grippy. Fits perfectly. Only top & bottom are exposed.

6. Same as #6, but with a rubbery, grippy feel. Fits perfectly. Only top & bottom are exposed.

7. The left, right and top of the bumper are a shiny black with the front and back edges being a off-black or almost dark grey color. Bumper is flexible but firm.

8. The case is a tight fit around the phone, it's a perfect fit that goes on without scratching the aluminum sides. The left and right bumpers of the case are hard plastic, while the back/top/bottom are rubber-ish TPU

9. It has a smooth, comfortable feel to it. It doesn't add any unnecessary weight and it fits nice and snug, as expected.

10. I like. Reminds me of the Case-Mate Barely There series. The fit is perfect. Fully covers left & right sides of phone. Top & bottom are open.

11. Meh. TPU case paired with a plastic bumper. All sides are covered.

12. Super light, no bulk, fits perfect yet not to hard to put on or take off.

Thanks for the Noot recommendation. I really like it. It is very slim, doesn't come up over the screen but also has coverage around the phone. I don't like the cases that have the top and the bottom of the iPhone just hanging out in the open.

I'm not affiliated with any case company, but I don't think that anyone has chimed on Aviiq for a thin case. I simply love mine. It's very minimalistic, has a matte finish and covers/complements my new 5 appropriately. I've seen numerous Spigen Ultra Air posts, but I actually think the Aviiq fits/feels better. It fit's flush on the front so the only thing I feel when I move my finger on the screen is the glass (the Glas.T, to be exact ;) ), not the case.

I just received my Moshi iGlaze case and I love how minimal it is. Almost feels like there isn't a case on the phone at all.

Feels great in my hands and looks great too :D

It comes with a skin for the back to protect against scratches from dust getting in between the case and the phone.

I bought the black case, but the link is to the "XT" or clear version.

I am looking to buy the XT but concerned about easy scratches.

Could you tell me if the front of the case is flushed or not? I do not like it when it is NOT flushed. It feels weird in your hand.

It sits a bit below the glass right/just above where the bezel is so its not flush with the glass but sits slightly under it.

If you sat the phone face down it would be on its glass and not the case if thats what you're asking.

I've had no issues with scratches on my iGlaze but I have the black model.

I got a gelaskins hard case and did a custom design I created in photoshop... it printed so beautifully and is really well made. I love how the design wraps around and it fits perfectly. Just gorgeous!
