I’m excited to have just ordered an AW S3. Arrives in a few days so figured I’d ask when Do you charge your Watch?

Im going to be wanting to wear it over night, every night, for sleep tracking so am guessing I’ll have to find times during the day to charge.

Am guessing when I shower I’d charge my phone. Am also guessing while I’m driving, and I tend to drive about 30 minutes each way to work. What about during when washing the dishes? I’m guessing dish washing doesn’t burn too many calories enough to care.

There’s no optimum time as such. Just put it on charge as it fits in your day to day life. I put mine on in the morning when I brush my teeth, take shower etc and it lasts the whole day and night until I charge it again the next day.

Sometimes I might put it on charge during the middle of the day over the weekends when I have lie in till late and don’t take shower in the morning.

Sometimes I charge it overnight when I can’t be bothered to put it on after a late night shower. Just depend on my mood. Whatever works for you.

Being retired, I charge mine in the mornings, while I'm enjoying my coffee, and seeing what the FB crowd has done to themselves, of course, there's always Criminal Case also.. plenty of time for a good charge. :D

I use mine for sleep tracking and charge it about an hour before going to sleep. I usually wake up with the watch around 90%. It’s worked great for me.

This is good to hear.

I just bought a 2nd charger for the car, so I see myself charging when im driving and showering.

I just bought a Kindle in hopes of staving off Social Media, cheers!

I charge mine for ~30-45 minutes at night while I'm getting ready for bed; that gets me from about half charge to full battery, and I put it on before going to sleep (I also use it for sleep tracking.) I'm very happy that the watch charges so quickly, compared to my old Fitbit... you shouldn't have any issues if you do that, or charge it while you're in the shower, etc.

Congrats on your purchase!

That's awesome that it charges so fast, guess I probably won't be needing an extra car charger then.
do remind i dont usually make it totally empty sometimes 40 percent i charge it so i get around 1 hour.

Do please check below link

About 1.5 hours to 80 per cent
About 2 hours to 100 per cent

Charge times are from zero to 80 per cent and from zero to 100 per cent using the included Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2017 using pre-production Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) and Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), each paired with an iPhone; all devices tested with pre-release software. Charge time varies with environmental factors; actual results will vary.

** last i charge is 12 pm gmt 8 yesterday and now battery is 31 percent.

Upon waking (wear mine to sleep) I'll charge while I enjoy morning coffee and then showering.

Unfortunately, the 6.2.8 update has reduced battery life for me, so I do find myself sometimes charging lately while watching TV before bed.
