Best Torrent Client for Mac

Hi guys,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section or not allowed etc.

But can anyone advise me on the best torrent client for Mac and the best websites to download torrents from?

I've not downloaded anything for a couple of years now, I used to use Utorrent but I heard it's in a bad way so deleted the app.

Any help is appreciated.

Probably "Transmission", but use only version 2.9.2.

There was an earlier version (2.9.0, was it?) that was infected with a crypto-locker.

This is resolved and the problem is eliminated in 2.9.2.

I use utorrent exclusively now due to past issues with transmission stalling on larger downloads

I recently switched from qBittorrent to Transmission on my Mac, but have been using the Linux version of Transmission on my NAS for a while now - using it to move files between my offices. Happy with the switch so far, have disabled auto-update tho'...

I use transmission on linux and on mac. Its been rock solid for me.

I've used BitTorrent for years and have had no issues.

I've used Transmission for years now and have never had an issue with it. Works flawlessly and they update frequently. Has some good and easy to use features, too. As for sites to find stuff, I've used Kickass torrents quite often and usually successfully.

Folx Pro 4 is absolutely the best torrent client for Mac.

Transmission. Never had a single issue with it.
