I came home and watched Saw II with my mate one night after a unsuccessful night out, and I loved it. Now I've watched all the Saw and Hostel movies and I am just not satisfied. For some odd reason, I love to watch people have their arms cut off and stuff.

Do any of you guys know any good torture movies I can watch?

I'm not real big into horror movies, but some good torture movies I know of are Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Seven. Seven just freaked me out.

Severence?
What about zombie movies, do they count too? They usually feature lots of limb removal.

Totally... I love zombies.

Saw II is the best one out the the Saw movies in my opinion.

Looks live Se7en is my next watching.

Thanks guys... keep them coming tho, so I have a list to watch. :)

If it has "Disney" anywhere in the credits you know you've picked a winner.

Se7en isn't a "torture" movie you want to watch based on the description you gave. It's not really physical torture. But one of my favourite movies ever!

Sounds like you want gory movies rather than torture movies. Gory movies usually involve obscene amounts of physical torture but the plot isn't soley based on it. Which makes for a better movie.

- Dead Alive (Comedy, Horror) - Goriest movie I've seen, but not realistic.

- Guinea Pig Series (Horror, Fake Snuff) - I've not watched these and never will, but they are often recommended to people who like unhealthy amounts of gore. They're shot to look like real snuff films. I don't recommend this one...

- Salo (Horror) - Seen clips from it. There isn't much visual gore but it's a disgusting movie with tons of nudity.

- Ichi the Killer (Japanese Horror) - Really sick and gross.

There are a lot more, just Google goriest movies for some more. Saw is pretty much nothing compared to those ones I listed.

"A Michael Bay Film..." *shudder*

On a more serious note: if it's graphic torture scenes you're after, try 'The Passion of the Christ'. Brutal.

Yeah, that was pretty messed up.

For the Saw movies, the only good one is the first one. It actually had a good mystery element to it. I guess if you really want to punish yourself, you could go rent Mamma Mia?

Check out nearly any Italian exploitation movie.

In fact, just Google Exploitation and look around (exploitation is the term you're looking for).

I've seen a couple, I don't understand why people enjoy them. I'll take the tame American take on "exploitation" thanks very much.

What you're asking for is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a "good" torture movie.
